Welcome to NovaDocs
NovaDocs is a self-hosted documentation CMS. You write docs in an admin panel, and readers get a clean public docs site.
You own the data. You can run it on your own server, with Docker, or on Vercel with a Postgres database (for example Supabase).
What you can do
- Create multiple documentation projects
- Write articles with a block editor (code tabs, file trees, steps, callouts, and more)
- Organize content with categories, versions, and languages
- Import from GitBook, GitHub, or Markdown files
- Use a REST API and webhooks
- Brand each project (logo, colors, domain)
- Optionally connect the Discord companion bot so your community can search docs from Discord
- Optionally add the config playground so readers can build and check config files on the page
Who this guide is for
